In the second match of the Malaysia Tri-Nation T20I Series held at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong’s captain Yasim Murtaza won the toss and elected to bat first.

Bahrain’s playing XI featured: Ubaid Murtuza Minhas, Ahmer Bin Nasir, Junaid Niazi, Fiaz Ahmed, Prashant Kurup, Imran-Javed Anwer, Muhammad Basil, Ali Dawood, Asif Ali Jr, Sai Sarthak, and Abdul Majid Abbasi.
After electing to bat, Hong Kong scored 118 runs for losing 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
